SHARING YOUR WEB STORIES ON SOCIAL
NO.22
Why you should share on social.
These tips make sure your stories perform well and funnel readers back to your website.
SHARING ON TWITTER
Ensure your story includes the Twitter Card metadata.
Check, if your poster looks good on Twitter.
Use the Twitter Card validator for a preview.
SHARING ON INSTAGRAM
There are just two link possibilities.
Put a link to your Web Story in your bio and give a hint to that link in your feed post or story.
1.
Use "swipe up" in Instagram stories.
2.
But "swipe up" is only available with a creator or business account, more than 10.000 followers or a "verified badge".
We’re experimenting with „swipe up“ on our Google Web Creators Instagram account.
What about "no teasers"?
SHARING ON FACEBOOK
Before sharing your Web Story via Facebook better use the Sharing Debugger to check if the right metadata is available.
SHARING ON PINTEREST
Use Rich Pins which look more prominent.
Experiment with Story Pins which can have links and multiple pages.
